Jasmine Green's fashion journey began when she was 9 years old designing clothes for her bratz dolls. She started sewing at 12 which prompted her journey as a self taught designer. In 2009, while pursuing music, she began creating costumes for theatre and music. She opened her custom apparel and alterations business in 2014 creating custom pieces for private clientele which she did part time. In 2014, Jasmine decided to pursue her education in fashion design at chaffey community college. In 2016, she earned a certificate in industrial sewing. In that same year she began working in fashion as an alterations specialist for a well know bridal retailer.
In 2018, she earned an associates degree in fashion design & a certificate in custom dressmaking. Jasmine then decided to pursue her business full time designing and working with various brands offering a variety of fashion services. In 2020, Jasmine earned an associates degree in fashion merchandising as well as a certification in draping from fashion institute of design and merchandising (FIDM), rounding out her professional skills. In 2021, she continued her educational journey and began attending at the Academy of Art University, San Francisco to pursue a bachelors degree in fashion product development earning her 3rd degree in 2024.
During her fashion journey she has worked with over 500+ private clients, 15+ small brands creating samples, small production and branding, released 2 capsule collections with Shein.com, showcased at 5 fashion shows, worked with factories overseas producing garments for small brands, mentored, taught various age groups face-to-face and online through lessons.com, worked with organizations like FCCLA, IFDIUS, worked as a freelancer through upwork.com, and has had her work published in two local digital magazines.
